Apply to work at a voting location during the 2026 municipal election

The City is looking for temporary election officials to help run Burlington’s 2026 municipal election. Election officials will support the advance voting period on Oct. 17 and 20 and on Voting Day, Oct. 26, 2026.

There are a variety of election positions available. All positions are paid and include a mandatory in-person training session. Interested individuals are invited to review job descriptions and apply at myvoteburlington.ca/work-the-election.

Individuals eligible to apply are:

• at least 18 years of age (16 years for the role of Information Assistant)
• a resident of Ontario
• legally entitled to work in Canada
• not a registered candidate or closely related to one.
