Voters' List

Voters' List

Check if you are on the Voters' List

Being registered on the Voters' List makes voting faster and ensures you receive a Voter Information Letter in the mail.

The letter contains important online and in-person voting information, such as your online Voter Registration Code, and in-person voting locations, dates and times.

Add or change your information

After reviewing your information, you may find that you need to:

  • Be added or removed from the Voters’ List
  • Update or correct your information, such as your school support or date of birth
  • Request to have a deceased person’s name removed from the List

To have your name added or removed, have your information corrected, or remove a deceased person’s name from the List, you must complete an Application to Amend the Voters’ List – EL15 and submit it to the City.

Applications are available at City libraries and the Service Burlington counter at City Hall during regular business hours. The application must be submitted in person and contain original signatures. We cannot accept electronic copies.

You can also add or change your information on the Voters’ List when voting in-person at an advance voting or Voting Day location. If you plan to vote online, an Application to Amend the Voters’ List – EL15 must be submitted at a City library or City Hall.

Valid identification must be provided when submitting an Application to Amend the Voters’ List – EL15.

Who manages the Voters' List?

Elections Ontario manages the Voters' List for all elections in Ontario. This change took place on Jan. 1, 2024. Previously, municipal Voters' List were managed by the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC).
