Apply to work at an election poll during the 2022 municipal election

Burlington, Ont. — June 28, 2022 — The City is looking for temporary election officials to help run Burlington’s 2022 municipal election. Election officials will support the advance voting period on Oct. 15 and 18, and election day on Oct. 24, 2022.
There are a variety of election jobs available and all positions are paid. To find the one right for you and apply, visit myvoteburlington.ca.
Individuals eligible to apply are:
- at least 18 years of age (16 years for the role of Information Assistant)
- a resident of Ontario
- legally entitled to work in Canada
- not a registered candidate or closely related to one.

- In October, eligible voters in Burlington will choose who they want to represent them on Burlington City Council in the 2022 municipal election, including: Mayor; City Councillor(s); Regional Chair for Halton Region; and School Board Trustee.
- The Mayor and City Councillors also represent Burlington on Halton Regional Council.
